New Episodes On Wednesday!
Join Joel Grimes as he teaches a weekly workshop on how he captures his most powerful images.
“Sizzoll”
This week Joel shows us a lighting method he used on rap artist Sizzol. The lighting is a narrow band of light right down the center of the face and creates a very unique look to the photo. Joel explains that how with a few very simple pieces of equipment, that you probably already have laying around the studio, you can recreate this “Sizzoll” look. Check out this week’s LitUp and watch as Joel walks you through his shoot!

Hi! great videos! why do you use a wide angel lens and not a lens with a longer focal length? thinking of distortion ..
