Lightwalk
Big Whitey is in the house! This week Ryan, Tanja, and Tia explore an old abandoned barn in search of the 9 different types of light. Whether you are stuck in direct blinding sunlight, or you’re blessed with “Angels Singing” light- learn the best tricks for all kinds of lighting. Tanja and Tia have created creative and quirky names that make them easy to remember.
This episode is geared towards novice and advanced shooters alike. Sometimes we simply need to take a step back and look for the light.

Finally someone that speaks my language, FILM! Since Tanya got me thinking film again on her first show she did I’ve been kinda scared of it. (Funny part was I used to shoot ALL on kodachrome) Slowly I’m grabbing my D700 less, and loading up the Portra more!

i got a quick question
when ryan says that he is overexposing a couple of stops (11.57 min) to get that “glow” look ist he talking about average or spot metering?
as far as i do not own a light meter i find this pretty hard to understand
